The United Way of North Central Massachusetts held its Annual Community Celebration at The Colonial Hotel in Gardner, MA. on Tuesday evening. The well attended event celebrated successes of the UWNCM and area organizations supported by UWNCM. May 21, 2025 -Worcester, MA The Office of Worcester County Sheriff Lewis G. Evangelidis held its Annual Flag Day Placement Program at St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St. , Worcester on Wednesday. Over 160 volunteers placed 5,000 American flags on the graves of United States Veterans ahead of Memorial Day on Monday, May 26, 2025. May is Stroke Awareness month, and Richard provided meaningful information regarding the most common stroke types, the signs and symptoms of a stroke, the risk factors for stroke and most importantly, what to do if you think someone is experiencing a stroke ( BE FAST).
