The Home Health Alliance of MA ( HCA of MA )held its annual Home Health 101 briefing on Beacon Hill which consisted of a presentation to Legislative members and individual sessions with Legislators and their staff. HCA of MA Executive Director Jake Krilovich spoke to the home health funding shortfalls in the current budget and specific bills aimed to bring transparency to the rate setting process and a second bill to establish a minimum requirement of licensure for non-medical home health providers in the State. Following the briefing, Care Central VNA & Hospice’s Kristin Mattson and Ricardo Muchiutti met with the teams of Sen. Peter Durant, Sen. Brendan Crighton, Rep. Dan Ryan, and Rep. John Lawn to speak specifically on workforce and reimbursement challenges in home health.
