The Women’s Circle of Giving (WCG) held its annual Spring mentee meeting at Heywood Hospital Wednesday evening. The WCG meets quarterly and each meeting features two non-profit representatives within local communities who explain their mission. The WCG votes and the organization with the majority vote receives a donation averaging $10,000 to support its mission. Every woman in the WCG donates $50 per meeting. January 8, 2026 – Gardner Mayor Inauguration Ceremony The Inauguration Ceremony for Gardner Mayor Michael J. Nicholson was held in the Perry Auditorium at City Hall Thursday evening. Ann Gobi, Ma. Director of Rural Affairs presided over the event, in which elected school committee and councilmen were sworn into office, as well as Mayor Nicholson.
