The North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce and the North Central Massachusetts Development Corporation hosted the 3rd Annual Small Business Showcase & Entrepreneur Awards Reception on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the DoubleTree in Leominster. This well attended networking event highlighted the hard work, creativity, and success of small businesses in the region and featured over two dozen resource providers who exhibited information about their services. March 26, 2026 – Worcester, MA The Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts held its Regional Members Meeting at the Arca Adult Day Center in Worcester, Massachusetts on Thursday. The Women’s Circle of Giving (WCG) held its annual Spring mentee meeting at Heywood Hospital Wednesday evening. The WCG meets quarterly and each meeting features two non-profit representatives within local communities who explain their mission. The WCG votes and the organization with the majority vote receives a donation averaging $10,000 to support its mission. Every woman in the WCG donates $50 per meeting. January 8, 2026 – Gardner Mayor Inauguration Ceremony The Inauguration Ceremony for Gardner Mayor Michael J. Nicholson was held in the Perry Auditorium at City Hall Thursday evening. Ann Gobi, Ma. Director of Rural Affairs presided over the event, in which elected school committee and councilmen were sworn into office, as well as Mayor Nicholson.
