Channel 5’s Chronicle, a popular televised newsmagazine, featured the legend of Leominster’s Johnny Appleseed on its September 23rd edition. As part of the program, the interior of the Johnny Appleseed rest area off Rte. 2 in Lancaster was featured. In 2022, Holly Chaffee, President & CEO of Care Central VNA & Hospice, Inc. donated an antique nurse’s bag to the newly opened center. Two years later, the nurse’s bag appeared on televisions everywhere as part of this episode of Chronicle!
